Yes, you heard that right! Stitch Fix has launched a kids line just in time for back to school. We were part of a select group of Stitch Fix customers who were able to try it out before they officially launched it! We received Wyatt’s first box and he was so excited. He really enjoys opening the door for people when they come over (to the point where I have had to put safety measures in place to be able to just shower, he really keeps me on my toes!)
Before I get into Wyatt’s fix here is an overview of Stich Fix in case you haven’t heard of it.
Stitch Fix is a clothing subscription box you can receive at a variety of schedules, or as needed if you are feeling the need to refresh your closet. You complete a style profile, pay a $20 styling and schedule your fix…it’s that easy! Once your Fix arrives you have 3 days to try on, decide what to keep and send the rest back in their prepaid postage bag (hopefully you love it all and don’t have to return & receive 25% off your Fix!) Your styling fee automatically gets credited to your purchase, even if you keep just one thing.
Stitch Fix Kids sizing starts at 3T and goes to size 14, at that point, you could transition your teens to Women (sizes 0-24W/XS-3X) or Men (sizes 28-42W/XS-2X). The kids Fix comes with 8-12 items. With Stitch Fix Kids you still have 3 days to try on and check out. I do wish this timeframe was a little longer, especially for the younger kids, but we took longer without penalty. The reminder email from Stitch Fix actually came after day 5, so I don’t think this is something they are particularly strict about. Ok, on to the clothes!!
Wyatt received 10 things: 4 shirts, 4 pairs of shorts, 1 pair of pants and a pair of shoes.
Here is what we kept…
Hurley Shirt and Hanna Andersson Shorts
This shirt is glow in the dark, which is always fun for the kids. Wyatt had the tag off of this shirt before I could even snap a picture. (We are in the bathroom to go light up his shirt for the first time!!)
Just his shorts are Stitch Fix. His Fix came with two pairs of these, a navy pair and this rust pair. We sent the navy back. If your curious, he had just found out his grandpa (who passed away almost 13 years ago) was a firefighter and he has decided he either wants to be a firefighter or a police officer when he gets older. It was a pretty exciting moment for him! So that’s it, we kept four things.
Here are the things that didn’t make the cut:
I really wish I would have exchanged the pants, they were the softest pants but a little short.
I was really happy with our first kids Fix, we are looking forward to his next one that’s coming later this month! Click on the link to try it out and you will receive a $25 credit when you sign up for your first Fix. https://www.stitchfix.com/referral
