I have been wanting to try KIDBOX for quite a while now, so I finally pulled the trigger with both of my littles! I was excited that there was a service I could get for Tess, as it seems most start sizing with toddlers. We received Tess’s back to school box; it was so fun to see the things picked out for her.
A little bit about KIDBOX:
KIDBOX is a seasonal subscription box, they have added some exclusive boxes in addition to the seasonal boxes as well to increase your options.
Unlike some of the other subscription boxes, there is no style fee. Which is one of my favorite things about them! You really can try it without feeling like you need to keep something to not lose your style fee.
KIDBOX exclusive clothing mixed with known name brands.
Try & Decide:
With KIDBOX you have 7 days to try on before you have to check out. If you decide to keep everything you do get a very generous full box discount.
I love companies that have give back programs, so KIDBOX fills my bucket! For every full box kept you clothe a child in need! If that wasn’t cool enough for you, you also get to chose the charity!! So, if you were on the fence with one or two items in your box, this (along with the full box discount) is a great incentive to give you the nudge to purchase the full box. KIDBOX encourages if an item or two aren’t for you that you donate those items or give them as gifts, this makes me feel like they are driven to help and serve others.
We have chosen to donate NWT clothing to a local emergency domestic violence shelter for woman and children. This organization holds a special place in my heart for many reasons, so this was an effortless choice for me.
Here’s what we got:
Tess received 5 items in her KIDBOX- full price box was only $68!!
New Balance Tracksuit Jessica Simpson Onepiece Kidtopia Top and Legging Set
Kids Club 3 Pack Onesies Kyle+Deena 2 Pack Muslin Blankets Nuby Stroller hooks 2 Pack
The Nuby Deluxe Double Stroller Hooks was a complete surprise, KIDBOX does say you will receive a surprise in your box, but I was impressed it was an item of such value.
Exchanges or Returns:
Are easily made through your online account. I also had the pleasure of working with their customer service, and they couldn’t have been more kind and understanding. Returns for KIDBOX go to UPS, and there is a preprinted label in your box. Please don’t be like me and take it to USPS..your return takes a little longer to track down and get back to KIDBOX. Customer service was super understanding about it; I must not have been the only one to do that–well, I’ll at least tell myself that!
In the end, we decided to send everything back. I think with Tess being on the smaller size and still needing a baby box it added in some items that she would no longer use, the onesies and blankets mainly. If there had been more items in her box, I would have kept everything and donated the unused items but to pay $68 for only two outfits, I felt it was too much to spend for them. I love the values and concept of KIDBOX and will definitely order for Tess again, but I think we’ll wait until she fits into 2T clothing.
